I bought a new essential oil diffuser two weeks ago. Unlike my last one, which worked by heating the oil, this one has a little fan inside. You buy these tiny foam discs and drop the oil onto them and put it in a slot over the fan. Then you put the cover over it and hit the button that turns the fan on. Then there's another button that changes the color. I don't usually like blue light, but the dark blue option is really soothing. At night it makes it feel like I'm in the sky or underwater.
I have some essential oils but I also bought a new one from walmart called "garden rain" because it was on sale. It's what you'd expect; soapy, aquatic, hints of floral. But there's something authentic in it.Like finding an old watering can under the porch. Filling it with snail shells and grass. Watching it drip through the scabby rusted spots like cold brew.
I also had some kale go bad in my fridge a while ago. That smelt fucking disgusting.
